Inland 2014
The Sketch House voyaged Inland for an incredible night of music, art, dance and poetry - it's delicious trademark staples. As part of Redruth's Inland Art Fest 2014, the shell of a decrepit branch of Boots came to life as The Sketch House manifest! Visitors exploring the labyrinthine corridors and quirky storage rooms were treated to all manner of delights while on the shop floor, MC Will Salter played landlord to the very best in local talent. Our guests stared intently at a rotten mattress, they were shouted at in gobbledygook, they predicted the weather with a ball of seaweed, they cycled through sleep, they came face to face with a living, breathing and talking structure, they lost their virginities, got a new career path and stomped their feet the whole night through!

Fascinate 2014
The Sketch House, as part of the incredible Fascinate Conference and Showcase of 2014, hosted three afternoons of music, poetry and innovation against the backdrop of Falmouth's Tall Ship event. A myriad of performers came along to the Morgawr Monster stage in the heart of the town to be noisy for an enormous crowd as integral parts of an action-packed and fun-filled programme.

Sketch House @ Penryn Festival
To kick off the incredible Penryn Arts festival (as organised by our very own Dom Jones) The Sketch House took over the Kings Arms Hotel in Penryn for a night of chaotic performance, film, music and biscuit based fun!

Tying in with the incredible Drawing a Presence exhibition at Newlyn Art Gallery, The Sketch House took over the building for an afternoon of music, poetry and projections. From the wordsmithery of Abigail Wyatt to the haunting melodies of Girls Cry Wolf, it was an engaging day of performance show-casing the very best of the arts in the South West.

With Blind Buffalos
Moving to Penryn so to spread the love even further, The Sketch House once again delivered a unique night of music and performance. Hosted by special guest Jurgen the German, it was a rollercoaster of talent and mayhem culminating in a general mass boogie to the swinging sounds of The Blind Buffalo Trio. Yumbreads and Shutishuti cakes filled our bellies and merriment filled our souls!

Happy New Year
Welcome to 2014! The Sketch House returned once again with another great evening of the arts. Thanks to all that made the move with us to the Falmouth Watersports Centre and filledit with music, art, performance and fun things galore! Sketch House Story Emporium
The Sketch House descended on Holifair Festival 2014 to introduce its Story Emporium where festival goers came to trade tales, chat and get away from the throng for a while. Set at the beautiful Valley View, the fire circle was transformed into a rickety bookshop full of intrigue and magic beans!
